Zephaniah 1:15-17

^15 (A)A day of wrath is that day,
    a day of distress and anguish,
a day of ^(B)ruin and devastation,
    ^(C)a day of darkness and gloom,
^(D)a day of clouds and thick darkness,
^{16     (E)}a day of trumpet blast and battle cry
^(F)against the fortified cities
    and against the lofty battlements.
^17 (G)I will bring distress on mankind,
    so that they shall walk ^(H)like the blind,
    because they have sinned against the Lord;
^(I)their blood shall be poured out like dust,
    and their flesh ^(J)like dung.
